In September 1996, three suburban churches in the Buffalo, NY area came together to share a vision of ecumenical service, both here in our community and beyond: St. Matthew’s UCC, Hamburg Presbyterian, and St. James’ UCC.
Guided by the Holy Spirit, the small group has grown in membership and scope, determined to “remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, `It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” (Acts 20:35).
