Our History - 1997 | April 1997 Service Auction - Raised $12,000 for upcoming events. July 1997 Mission of the Eastward - Sent 62 volunteers from six different churches to the Mission of the Eastward in rural Maine to rebuild homes for the poor. September 1997 Our First Clothing Drive - Collected 2800 bags of clothing with the help of 100 volunteers from 12 different churches. December 1997 Caroling Night at Group Homes - Volunteers spread the joy of the holiday season to our brothers and sisters in local area community homes for the developmentally disabled. |
